Day 1 Zanzibar – Fly to Mikumi National Park

Early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for a short bush flight to Mikumi, Kikoboga airstrip. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and begin your game drive in Mikumi National Park, known for its open plains and rich wildlife.

Spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions, wildebeest, and a variety of birds as you explore the Mkata floodplain. Stop for a picnic lunch or enjoy a hot meal at a lodge. Continue with an afternoon game drive before checking into your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
