Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Dar es Salaam – Transfer to Bagamoyo

 Depart from Dar es Salaam and head north to Bagamoyo (approx. 2 hours). Explore this historic town’s rich Swahili and colonial heritage, including ancient ruins, local markets, and the Bagamoyo Museum. Overnight in Bagamoyo.

Day 2Bagamoyo to Saadani National Park

 Drive to Saadani National Park (approx. 3 hours), the only wildlife park in Tanzania bordering the Indian Ocean. Check into your lodge or camp. Afternoon game drive or beach walk to spot elephants, buffalo, lions, and coastal wildlife.

Day 3Full Day Safari & Beach in Saadani National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in Saadani. Enjoy the unique opportunity to combine a safari with beach time on the Indian Ocean. Optional boat safari on the Wami River to see hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4Saadani to Pangani

 Travel to the historic town of Pangani (approx. 3 hours). Explore its cultural sites, old German architecture, and relax on Pangani’s tranquil beaches. Overnight in Pangani.

Day 5Pangani Leisure & Beach Time

 Spend a full day enjoying Pangani’s beaches and marine environment. Optional snorkeling, dhow sailing, or visits to local villages.

Day 6Pangani to Mkomazi National Park

Drive inland to Mkomazi National Park (approx. 5 hours), a sanctuary for endangered African wild dogs and black rhinos. Check into your lodge or camp and relax.

Day7 Full Day Safari in Mkomazi National Park

Game drives focusing on conservation species, including wild dogs, rhinos, and other wildlife in this less-visited park. Learn about ongoing conservation projects.

Day 8Mkomazi to Arusha

Depart Mkomazi and drive to Arusha (approx. 4 hours), the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Check into your hotel and relax.

Day 9Explore Arusha & Surroundings

Optional day tour exploring Arusha town, local markets, cultural villages, or nearby natural attractions like Lake Duluti.

Day 10Departure from Arusha
