This safari is designed for travelers with limited time who want a well-organized and rewarding wildlife experience. Expect early morning departures, smooth flight connections, and guided game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof.
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel, followed by a transfer to the airport for your flight to Arusha (arrival around 9:20 am). Upon arrival, meet your professional guide and drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy a game drive through diverse landscapes featuring savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You may also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Start early with a packed breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This unique ecosystem supports a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.
After approximately 5 hours of exploration, ascend the crater and return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
This expedition takes you through some of the most breathtaking national parks in Tanzania’s South, digging deeper into Nyerere, Mikumi, Udzungwa, and Ruaha National Park. You get an opportunity to experience the authentic safari for two weeks, observing the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and unique ecosystems that each park offers, culminating in a flight out to either Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar for your departure.
