Nyerere National Park is known for its unspoiled but spectacular game viewing locations. On this trip expect to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, impala, eland, wildebeest, baboon, hyena, lion and leopard, endangered wild dogs, and stunning landscapes.
Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam based in the City center and drive to Domestic Airport. You will be assisted onto your light aircraft for a 30 minutes flight to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), Africa’s largest reserve. You will spend your time for close wildlife encounters by taking part in a game drive.
The Park is home to huge populations of buffalos and lions and is one of the few places in Africa where you have a good chance of spotting rare wild dogs. In addition, you’ll come across masses of wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and impala.
