Arrive in Mikumi by late morning or midday, where your safari guide awaits. After lunch (at a lodge or picnic-style), begin your first game drive inside Mikumi National Park, famous for giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, and wildebeests roaming the Mkata floodplain. Day 2Full-Day Safari Exploration

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day safari adventure in Mikumi National Park. The park’s diverse ecosystems—ranging from open grasslands and acacia woodlands to seasonal wetlands—support a wide variety of wildlife species.

During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and large antelope such as eland and waterbuck. Mikumi is also a fantastic destination for bird lovers, with hundreds of bird species inhabiting the area.
