This morning at around 7:30, you’ll meet your experienced and professional driver-guide for a scenic 3.5 to 4-hour drive to Nyerere National Park, arriving just before the time for a delicious hot lunch. After enjoying your meal, you can take some time to relax before heading out at 15:45 towards the magnificent Rufiji River for an exhilarating 2.5-hour sunset boat safari, starting at 16:00. Keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. After the sunset, you’ll return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

This morning after a rich breakfast at around 7:30 depart for an amazing full-day game drive in the vast Nyerere National Park taking a packed lunch with you to maximize your game drive time. The lunch will be served under the shade of the tree over the expansive vistas of the park.
You may expect to see a large variety of wildlife and among the big five, you have a chance to see the elephants, buffalo, lions, and leopards that are rarely seen. Other animals that are commonly seen are crocodiles, hippos, bushbucks, impalas, wildebeest, warthogs, ostrich, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, hyenas, and kudus, the wild dogs are rarely seen. Apart from animals, you will have also a chance to see a variety of land and water birds including yellow-billed storks, kingfishers, lapwings, and colorful bee-eaters.

Early morning after a cup of tea or coffee at 6:30 you will have a 2-hour bush/nature walk with a bushman which will offer you an opportunity to observe and learn some fascinating facts about nature, birds, reptiles, insects, and medicinal uses of local plants, which you may not see while seating of your safari vehicle.
At 8:30 you will drive back to the Camp where you will have a full breakfast followed by the cultural visit to the nearby village at 10:30. At 13h00 you will be back at the Camp for a hot lunch and after hot lunch you will relax for a while before catching your flight back to Zanzibar at around16:00h. On arrival in Zanzibar you will meet the transfer driver that will take you to your Hotel.
