Expect to see lots of wildlife and stunning landscapes when you’re on a safari in Nyerere National Park. This park has the largest concentration of elephants in Tanzania and 430 bird species whose livelihood is the mighty Rufiji River, the largest in East Africa.
In the morning you will meet your driver-guide and after the briefing, you will start driving to Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve) arriving in time for a hot lunch. In the afternoon you’ll go for an adventurous boat safari on the Rufiji River where you’ll see hippos, and crocodiles and tick off a variety of bird species.

This morning after breakfast you’ll have a full day of game viewing in Nyerere National Park. This will be a special day spent exploring the wilderness and viewing diverse wildlife which includes lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, elephants, wild dog and so much more. You will take your lunch within a park’s boundaries while observing the amazing wildlife and spectacular landscapes of this park.
Overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp
Meal (s): Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
This morning after breakfast you will start driving back to Dar es Salaam and you will be transferred to your Hotel or the airport and catch a flight back home.
