Visitors to the park in a dry season from June to September can expect to see large herds of elephants, zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon.

It takes about 2 to 3 hours to reach the park and you’ll be able to enjoy the impressive landscape and wildlife that it offers. The most common animals in Tarangire National Park are Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Wildebeest, Zebras, Giraffes, Spotted hyenas, and Leopards.
