Your journey begins with a midday flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Mtemere Airstrip). Upon arrival, you’ll meet your professional safari guide, enjoy a packed or lodge-served lunch, and head straight into the park for your afternoon game drive.

The late afternoon light is perfect for photography as animals gather near water sources. Expect to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and hippos and with luck, lions or leopards preparing for their evening hunt.

As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll make your way to your lodge inside the park for dinner and relaxation.
