Zanzibar to Saadani Shared Day Trip – Where Beach Meets Bush

Your journey begins early with hotel pickup in Zanzibar and transfer to the airport for a short scenic flight (about 30–40 minutes) to Saadani National Park. Upon landing at Saadani Airstrip, your experienced guide will welcome you and give a short briefing. You’ll take along a packed breakfast and lunch to make the most of your time in the park.

Enjoy a full-day shared game drive through Saadani’s diverse habitats—open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the Wami River delta. Expect to see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hartebeests, warthogs, and waterbucks. Lions and leopards are occasionally spotted, while hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species thrive along the riverbanks. Midday, you’ll pause for a bush lunch at a shaded spot near the beach or river before continuing your afternoon exploration.
