Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Dar es Salaam + Pickup to your Hotel

Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA), you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Dar es Salaam. Take the rest of the day to relax, explore the city, or enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park + Sunset Boat Safari

After breakfast, depart for Nyerere National Park. The journey takes you through picturesque landscapes and local villages. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and later embark on a boat trip along the Rufiji River, providing a unique perspective on the park’s wildlife. In the late efternoon return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 to 5Nyerere National Park's Exploration

Spend the next three days exploring Nyerere National Park. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, where you’ll have the chance to see elephants, lions, and various bird species. Enjoy a guided walking safari for one of the three days exploring the park.

Day 4Nyerere National Park to Mikumi

After a final early morning game drive in Nyerere, travel to Mikumi National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge. Enjoy an evening at leisure, taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 7 - 8Mikumi National Park's Exploration

These days, you will have a full day of exploring Mikumi National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives will reveal the park’s diverse wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, and buffalo. Your guide will share insights about the park’s ecosystem and its inhabitants.

Day 9Mikumi to Udzungwa National Park

Day 10Udzungwa to Ruaha National Park

Day 11 - 13Ruaha National Park

Enjoy three full days in Ruaha National Park, known for its stunning landscapes and rich wildlife. Your guide will provide valuable information about the park’s ecology and conservation efforts.

Day 14Transfer to Iringa, Flight to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar
