This ultimate budget safari is designed for those guests who would like to experience a safari in Nyerere National Park whilst traveling on a budget. Come and experience this amazing and unique package that is nestled in the heart of the Selous ecosystem.
Highlights include the high chance of spotting the endangered African wild dog, especially in the denning season (June–August), and the aggregations of several dozen giraffes that frequently converge at the lakes.

On this tour expect to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes and view various wildlife including Lion, Elephant, Leopard, African Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds at close quarters.
Departing from Dar es Salaam by 7:30 AM, you will travel through the countryside dotted with rolling grassy hills and picturesque villages on the way to Nyerere National Park. You will arrive at the camp in the midday where you will be greeted by the camp staff with a welcome drink before being shown to your room, and return for a hot lunch.
You will then have time to settle in and freshen up before your first exciting adventurous boat Safari set at 4:00 PM in the Mighty Rufiji River also includes a sundowner stop in the sandbank. Return to the lodge at sunset, in time for a beverage and dinner served at the camp.
This morning you will enjoy a full breakfast before departing with a packed lunch on a full day of game viewing in the Nyerere National Park. In the midday, you have your lunch at the scenic picnic point within a park. After lunch, we will start the afternoon game drive in the Nyerere National Park. During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After your drive, you’ll make your way back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
This is the last day of your African Nyerere National Park safari. Following an early wake-up call at 6:15, there will be time for tea or coffee before departing for a bush/nature walk with a bushman. Return to the Camp for the full breakfast at 8:30. Around 9:30, depart for Dar es Salaam with comfort stops on the way.
